Via Panama by Col. James R. DeVoss, 1978 - One of a Limited Edition of 100 Copies.  This was the only edition of this publication and is autographed.  Col. DeVoss served with the U.S. Army in Panama in the years immediately after Pearl Harbor.  He developed a deep interest in Postal History for this region and focused his study & collection on covers that traveled via Panama.  This book consists of 410 one-sided pages and contains photo copies of his exhibits along with notes and additional information.  Col. DeVoss served the Philatelic World in many ways including over 20 years as the Executive Secretary (Now Executive Director) of the American Philatelic Society.

This book was obtained from the estate of a long time philatelist who was not only a collector, but also an exhibitor, researcher, author and APS Judge. Overall, the books are in good shape although the following observations are made:
- An inscription has been made in the front
- There is no evidence of note taking
