    10 1/2" x 13 1/4" opening to 21" x 13 1/4" original "The New-York Mirror: A Weekly Journal Devoted to Literature and the Fine Arts" issue for Saturday June 8, 1833.  Extremely detailed front page (and continuing a full additional page inside) article on the unveiling of the Mary Washington monument in Fredericksburg and the visit of President Andrew Jackson to unveil it.  He arrived on the Steamer "Cygnet."  Extremely detailed content of the orders of the day, comings and goings and complete text of oratory addresses and an account of the ball in the evening.  The issue is 8 pages.  Two sheets.  Horizontal fold.  Issue appears complete.  Was once bound.
