    UNIQUE Upcycled Painted & Sealed W.S. Blackinton Silverplate Footed Tray, Coral.

    New life has been breathed into this elderly piece of Mid-Century Blackinton Silverplate.
    W&S was founded in Meriden, CT in 1865 before being acquired by the Ellmore Silver Co. in 1938. It has been independently owned and incorporated since 1961. In 1966 it was purchased by Raimond Silver Mfg. and moved to Chelsea, MA. This serving tray, originally from the 1940s, is a perfect example of mid-century modern with clean lines and minimal frills. In addition, it has been refinished, painted a beautiful coral and sealed to perfection.
