    Description

    Advertising plate from Vauk Bros. of Tabor, South Dakota.  9" diameter, good condition, no chips or cracks, lots of crazing, spot on face of plate where the glaze was imperfect and left a dark spot in upper right area.  Transfer scene in the middle commemorates the signing of the Treaty of Versailles on June 28, 1919 which officially ended WWI.  Tabor is in southern South Dakota to the west of Yankton.  Shipping weight over 1 pound.
