Souvenir Olney Illinois Plate 8 1/2" Farm Autumn Wellsville Ohio Pottery Antique
This is an antique "Souvenir Olney, Illinois" plate that measures 8 1/2" diameter and features a farm in autumn scene. The maker's mark on back reads, " The Wellsville, O. Pottery Company, USA...Semi Vitreus Porcelain US". Plates like this were often promotional and give away by stores. This item dates to late 1800's or early 1900's. It is in functional condition without cracks but has everyday wear as would be expected of an item of this date.
