Our proprietary liquid nitriding process creates a valve that is smoother, stronger and more corrosion resistant than traditional chromed valves, even with exotic fuels. Our deep nitriding provides better ductility under the hard nitrided layer and is proven in rotating-bending fatigue tests. These valves are less likely to break even if contacted by the piston and greater surface hardness means less valve guide wear.
