    Description

    Here is a rare original
    UTAH DAILY UNION
a short-lived Ogden City newspaper from Saturday, June 22nd,
    1889
...Scant research available on this 1888-1891 publication or publisher?..not even found at the Library of Congress...I believe it held an anti-Mormon sentiment...a newspaper that offered a balance of news unavailable through the LDS Church-owned Deseret News at the time...I do not know if there is any connection to the notorious Union General Patrick Connor who published an earlier Utah newspaper from Fort Douglas with a similar name..the Daily Union Vedette? Coincidentily Connor died the year this newspaper ended? The frame is rather large at 39.5 x 26.5" but I hesitate from removing it for shipment given the fragile nature of the paper...U.S. ground delivery available but would prefer a local pickup....A rare historical piece of Western Americana...Not reflections in photos..under glass...Offered with no reserve...
