he overall weight is just over 3 grams of 10 karat gold (41.7% purity).  With the current precious metals market, considering the melee diamond, the bidding here is starting at a level that reflects the value of the materials alone.
Webb's City, Incorporated was one of the nation's first "one-stop-shop" department stores, established as a small drugstore in 1926, and closed by 1979.  It experienced explosive expansion, eventually covering ten city blocks, and has an interesting history within the history of civil rights and integration.  We have not located any other examples of these pins
at recent auctions, besides our own (we also have this available in white gold, with a diamond).
