    Description

Up for sale is a vintage tie or lapel pin issued by the Propeller Club of the United States.  This particular pin was intended to be worn by Past Presidents.
The hallmarks on the back read "1/10 10KT GF", which means that this pin is "gold filled", not solid gold.
The total diameter of the pin (from the end of one propeller spoke to the end of the opposite propeller spoke) is 11/16 inch.  If you don't count the length of the propeller spokes, then the diameter is 9/16 inch.  The "Past President" portion of the pin that covers about 1/4 of the circumference of the entire pin adds just over 1/16 inch to the diameter in that portion.
The gold lettering (on blue background) around the edge says "Propeller Club Of The United States" and "Founded 1927".  Within that circle is the design of a four bladed propeller at the center of which is what looks like a small blue stone.  (Note:  I have no idea as to the nature or composition of this stone.)
The Propeller Club (now formally known as The International Propeller Club of the United States, or IPCUS) was officially launched in 1927.  However, there had been individual Propeller Clubs dating to 1922, starting with the "Port" (as each local Club is known) in New York.  Today, IPCUS has over 80 Ports with almost 30 being outside the United States, primarily in Europe.  According to its website, IPCUS is "an international business network dedicated to the promotion of the maritime industry, commerce and global trade".
Please see above for description of condition and for photos.  Sold as is.

Attention International Buyers:  Unfortunately, it appears that international shipping from the US (via the USPS) has become unreliable, because of the pandemic.  Therefore, I have decided to remove the international shipping option.  You are still welcome to bid on this item, but will need to supply a shipping address in the US.  I'm sorry for the inconvenience.  Thank you for your understanding.
