Intake Exhaust Valves w/ Seals for 91-00 Mazda Miata Protege Ford Escord 1.8 BP. The best performance longest lasting valves available to the aftermarket. A one-piece, forged construction offers high strength and fatigue properties. Micropolished to allow for less oil retention on the stem which creates less drag for a smoother motion. Intake Exhaust Valves w/ Seals for 91-00 Mazda Miata Protege Ford Escord 1.8 BP. The main function of an engine valve is to open and close rapidly. This allows the air and fuel charge to enter the combustion chamber and after ignition, the exhaust valve allows the waste gases to flow out into the exhaust system. Each cylinder has at least one intake and one exhaust valve. Good engine performance depends on valve condition. Worn guides or stems and burned or badly seated valves allow gas to escape under compression, resulting in poor starting and loss of power. Symptoms of a bad or failing engine valve: engine misfire, excessive oil consumption. Be sure to have your engine valves replace with aftermarket replacement engine valves as soon as it starts to give you trouble.

Performance Part offers a limited 90 day warranty to all our products. We firmly believe our parts are free from any defects in workmanship, material and that all manufacturing is processed under a strict quality control environment.
The 90 day period is applied from the original date of purchase and is non-transferable. The limited warranty does not cover labor, any damages from accidents or installations, alterations, misuse or modifications not intended by the manufacturer. Warranty and exchanges may be limited to defective and or damaged items during transit to you.
All warranty claims must be authorized and returned prepaid to Performance Part for inspection and approval along with a filled out warranty form. This warranty does not cover or assume responsibility for any expenses, such as labor, towing, loading fluids, oils or car rentals.
Absolutely no exchanges will be made for any products that has been damaged, misused or improperly installed. We highly recommend that a licensed professional bear the responsibility of proper installation. The buyer also assumes risk of possible damage caused by improper installation.
