Vintage Rooster sitting on vegetables. It is in used condition. Tomatoes, turnip, squash and corn along with onions, carrots, lettuce and some lovely white and yellow daisies are all surrounding a proud rooster as he rests. He is painted in the most beautiful colors of orange, browns, greens, blues, purple and red with a prominent sunshine yellow beak. A 9.5” ladle sits between the lid and bowl. It is white, blue and purple. There is a flea bite nick on the purple part of the ladle. The lid makes up the roosters back and his tail feathers and is painted in the same color scheme as the body. There is a flea bite on the under-side of the tail feathers. Just an outstanding piece for the country kitchen or collectors in general. It was used for display only. It measures 12.5” long with the ladle, 7.5” wide and 10.25” high and weighs 5 pounds and 2 ounces before carefully wrapping and packaging. Thanks for your interest.
