In December of 2006, Go Cats sent us 12 of their new product, the CAT CATCHER. We gave them out to friends who foster animals and shelters in our area. It was a hit! Many of the foster parents said the feral cats they had adjusted more quickly when they used the Cat Catcher. The cats seemed to respond better with the Cat Catcher that any other toy (Da bird was a close second for most fosters but still #1 with other fosters!)
The wand is shorter than the Da Bird wand (12" colored plastic) and is attached to a fine wire (that is what gives it a 'live mouse' movement!! :) At the end is a small special bristled leather mouse (about 1/2 " to 1" long with about a 2" tail.) This mouse has adorable little ears and two black eye(marker-- no beads to swallow!! )a string nose and the tail is made of imitation leather ( please let us choose the color of wand for you.) The mice will vary in size/color. They are hand made and we do not have a choice on the size/color we receive.
When I first took my Cat Catcher out of the package, I thought " I am not sure the cats will go for this". Before I could finish my sentence, Lukie was running across the room ready to "catch the mouse"! I have to hide the refills from him when new shipments come in because he thinks they are all his!! He can't catch a real mouse to save his life, but loves the CAT CATCHER wand!!!
