    Description

    This is a signed set of salt and pepper shakers from a Chicago Studio in the early twentieth century.  I would attribute them to Pickard or Brauer or one of the other decorators who set up in Chicago as outgrowths of Pickard.  They are each signed either S.H. or H.S. depending on how you hold the shakers.  They have a lovely combination of gold and platinum with maroon accents.  Each is 3 & 3/8" tall with a Bavarian mark for the blank.  There is no maker's mark other than the monograms.  There is a bit of wear to the gold but they are otherwise in fine condition.
