Boston Gazette  September 30, 1805-   Wolvereen, Bear and Wolf Muffs and Tippets
The paper is primarily commercial and mercantile in nature
with a front page of detailed wholesale prices
followed by ship arrivals and their cargo,
and a multitude of interesting ads.
My favorite is an ad revealing the abundance of wildlife then available.
It boasts a massive quantity of  muffs and tippets (a scarf-like wrap)
available in sable, bear fox, genet, mock sable, rackoon, martin,
angora squirrel, wolf, wolvereen and fisher.
There are ads for new maps and charts, molasses, bathing tubs,
sugar and rum, crockery, English silverware, furs.
The paper is 4 pages long. Each page is 19 ½” by 13 ¼”.
It is in excellent condition with high rag content.
It was carefully removed from a volume.
There is one small chip.
