This elegant porcelain, cider pitcher is encrusted in gold and features hand painted floral designs.  It is signed by the artist, H. Richter.  There are two maker marks on the bottom.  The first reads 'PICKARD ETCHED CHINA'.  This particular mark dates this item ca. 1919-1922.  The second mark reads 'B & Co./LIMOGES/FRANCE' and represents L. Bernardaud & Co.
This pitcher is quite heavy weighing approximately 2 1/2 pounds.  Me

" from the spout to the edge of the handle and standing 5 1/2" high with a base diameter of 4 3/4", this pitcher would be beautiful addition to your collection.
Overall, this pitcher is in excellent antique condition with no cracks or chips and only very minimal wear to the bottom rim.  There is a tiny spot underneath the handle where the gold is missing.  The darker spots on the interior appear to me to be irregularities from the manufacturing process.
As is common to items of this era, there
