    Description

    This is an absolutely wonderful antique horse nose guard. It is made of cast brass and leather. The inside of the leather, that gives it the padding, seems to be stuffed with some type of animal hair. It looks very old and appears to be hand made. I can not find any marking on it. Overall length, when not buckled, is about 28". I can not get an exact measurement, because it will not lay flat. The leather and metal are in overall nice condition for age. This was stored very well, because the leather is not cracking. Please inspect all photos for condition and don't miss out on this amazing piece.
