DESCRIPTION:
This is a RARE plate bearing the name of Vinton Baptist Church, located in Vinton, Virginia! Manufactured by Marion-Kay Spices, this plate was apparently offered as a sales incentive when the church decided to sell Marion-Kay Spices as a fundraiser in the 1950s or 1960s. Church name is printed in gold on rim. Painted gold inner ring with gold rim paint. Measures 9" in diameter. A nice addition to your Vinton, Virginia or Marion-Kay memorabilia collection!

CONDITION DETAILS:
VERY GOOD. Scattered utensil mark on plate surface. Contact wear and a few rings of glaze crazing on bottom of plate. Very tiny fleabite along rim on back at two o'clock. Light wear to gold paint. Church name is clearly painted in gold script. No other scratches, chips, cracks, or other damage.
