This is a very rare Nov. 2, 1850 newspaper The Daily Picayune in New Orleans. This is an Authentic newspaper Not a copy or reprint.
It is complete with a total of 2 pages with writing on both sides. This gives a real insight as to what New Orleans was all about back then. There are many interesting writings such as loads of steamship listings, horse racing, loads of auctions, and an ad advertising for selling leeches. There is also a interesting long article on the telegraph. There are four slave auctions. One of the slave articles is an auction with named slaves. Please see the pictures so you can read them.
The newspaper is in very good condition with folds and a little minor chipping on one side. This is a great piece of New Orleans history.
